All went well. The doctor drained the fluid from my breast and put in a tube to keep "it" draining. I will have to go back in a week and he will determine if the tube can be removed or if it needs to stay in longer. I'm hoping this is the last hurdle that I have to jump and my breast will be back to semi-normal. :)
I've been very fortunate that I've had alot of support from my family and my husband's family. Through all the tests, surgeries and treatments, I've had a very positive experience for something that isn't so positive...cancer. The doctors, nurses and technicians have been great and very supportive through everything that I've had to go through and deal with. Especially the nurses and technicians...they are a god send. I've spent most of my time with tests and treatments with them, not the doctors. It takes a very special person to be so compassionate and supportive and positive for their patients. They made this whole experience a "more" pleasant one. For those of you who are in the medical profession, thank you. You do make a very big difference to your patients!
